Attorneys: Earn Continuing Legal Education Credits Through NRA Foundation's Firearms Law Seminar
Annual National Firearms Law Seminar
NRA Annual Meeting

Organized by the NRA's Office of the General Counsel, the Annual National Firearms Law Seminar is the largest gathering of Second Amendment attorneys in the country. The Seminar provides a unique opportunity for attorneys, judges, FFLs, and others interested in firearms law to network and discuss this expanding area of civil rights law. Attorneys will earn CLE credit.

The 2019 Seminar will include discussions of recent Second Amendment decisions in the federal courts and what to expect with the new Supreme Court, state constitutional right to keep and bear arms provisions, FBI NICS updates and appeals, challenging Veterans Administration incompetency determinations, firearms forensics, unlicensed and gunsmith manufacturing (including 80% lowers and 3D printing), legal ethics, and defending ranges. Our special lunch presentation will be an engaging look at modern American gun culture.

Speakers will include Professor George Mocsary, David Thompson, Justice Steven David of the Indiana Supreme Court, NRA Attorney Sarah Gervase, FBI legal counsel, Eliot Peace, forensic firearms examiner Dwight Van Horn, Stephen Halbrook, and NRA-ILA Attorney Michael Jean. Our special lunch speaker will be Professor David Yamane from Wake Forest University.
