Shelby Baird Smith is Chief Litigation Counsel for the National Shooting Sports Foundation. Prior to joining NSSF, Shelby worked as an associate at Jones Day and Cooper & Kirk, where she worked on complex commercial litigation and constitutional challenges to state and federal laws, including Second Amendment cases. Shelby has also served as a law clerk to Justice Samuel A. Alito on the Supreme Court of the United States and Judge Thomas M. Hardiman on the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
